Uxbridge - Countryside Preserve and Uxbridge Urban Provincial Park - Mod to Fast - Sheila King

Members, guests, and non-members welcome. Pre-registration is required.

Non-members and new members are required to contact the hike leader by NOON the day before to discuss the hike in advance and ensure the hike is suitable for them.

ORTA Map 5; 10kms+; 2.5+ hrs; moderate to fast pace with minimal hills.  Our loop hike will start at the Countryside Preserve Trailhead behind Walmart and continue into the Uxbridge Urban Provincial Park. We hike rain or shine, so please check the weather the morning of and prepare accordingly.  Bring ample water, bug spray and sunscreen. Poles are optional. It is also important to be tick-aware.

Parking/location: Meet at 9:15 a.m. for a 9:30 a.m. start, at the Countryside Preserve trailhead behind the Wal-Mart store located off of Toronto St.  on the south end of Uxbridge.

Location:  Walmart is located at 6 Welwood Drive, Uxbridge. The trailhead is BEHIND, Walmart.
