Pickering - Seaton Trail North (Clarke’s Hollow), Moderate, Barb Anderson

Members, guests and non-members welcome. Pre-registration is mandatory. Maximum 12 participants.  No dogs please.

Non-members and new members are asked to contact the hike leader before noon the day prior to determine if the hike is suitable for them.

~10km; 2.5hrs; at a moderate pace. Following Duffins Creek, we will head north to Whitevale before turning back with opportunities to admire the views, the flora and fauna. Expect some moderate hills, sections of uneven terrain and possibly muddy sections following rain.  

Bring snacks and ample water. Long pants and long sleeved shirts are recommended for tick protection. Bug spray and sunscreen are also recommended. Good hiking shoes are essential. Poles are optional. 

Check the weather the day of and dress accordingly. 

Meeting Place/Parking: Meet in the free Seaton Trail parking lot on Forestream Trail. Turn east onto Old Whites Trail, just south of Taunton Rd. At the bridge, turn right onto Forestream Trail. Meet at 0915 for 0930 start.
