Rouge Park Black Walnut; 2 hours; slow-moderate pace. This is an out-and-back hike walking south on the Rouge Park trail starting at the Black Walnut Day Use Area. This trail has a granular surface and only a few gentle slopes, so it is ideal for those wanting a less aggressive hike.  

Meeting place/parking: meet at the Rouge Park Black Walnut Day Use Area parking lot at 7445 Elgin Mills Road East. (South-west corner of Reesor Road and Elgin Mills Road)

Meet at 8:45 am for a 9 am start. NOTE THE EARLIER TIME. We are starting a little earlier to try to get ahead of the heat.
