Uxbridge - Secord Forest (Conc 3)/Goodwood - Slow-Moderate, Brian & Wilma Millage

ORTA Map 5 - Uxbridge; slow-moderate pace for 2 hrs in Secord Forest and Goodwood Tract.

Two options - #1-Join the ORTA group for a 2 hour hike in the Secord Forest and Goodwood Tract along the Main/White ORTA Trail or join Wilma on a slow 1.5 hr hike on a variety of trails in the Secord Forest Tract. Scenic pond, meadow and forest trails make this a memorable outing. These will be there and back walks with several moderate hills on hike #1, and flat trails on the slow hike. Both will be followed by lunch at Annina's Cafe in Goodwood. If you arrive early, take a short walk from the parking lot to the Secord Pet Cemetery where you'll find Dr. Secord's favourite hunting dog on a stone plinth overlooking the final resting place of hundreds of family pets.

Meet at the Secord Forest parking lot 2 km south of the Goodwood Rd. on Concession 3, east on Secord Rd. to the end. 

Meet at 9:15 a.m. for a 9:30 a.m. start, bring water and be tick aware.
