Uxbridge - East Walker Woods (Conc. 7) Moderate, Anna Sunn

Members and non-members welcome.  Non-members and new members are asked to contact the hike leader no later than 6 pm the evening before to discuss whether this hike is suitable for you.

ORTA Map 5; 9 kms; 2.5 hrs; Some hills.  Meet at 9:15 am for a 9:30 start. 

Walker Woods is a beautiful spot for wildflowers in May.  It's been a cool spring but we hope the Trilliums will be carpeting the forest floor by the end of the week.

Meet at parking lot on west side of Uxbridge Conc. 7, 2 km south of Durham Road 21.

Please note that this is a pay parking lot #106.  Where possible, hikers are encouraged to carpool from alternate locations with fellow hikers to reduce parking fees such as North Walker (roadside on Conc. 6), Brock or Wilder parking (Brock Rd.).  Uxbridge residents are not required to pay for parking.
