Uxbridge - Brock Tract (Brock Rd.) Moderate, Sheila King

Members, Guests and Non-Members are welcome.  No dogs please. 

Non-members and new ORTA members are asked to contact the hike leader by noon the day before to determine if the hike is suitable for them  

ORTA Map 5; between 8-10kms ; 2.5 hrs; 4-4.5km/hr pace. Pace and distance may be adjusted depending on trail conditions.  Maximum: 15 attendees

Be prepared with ample water and proper footwear. Check the weather before leaving home and dress accordingly. Forest trails are still snow/ice covered in many places.  Icers remain mandatory, on your feet or in your bag.  Poles may be helpful given the natural and uneven terrain and some moderate hills. 

Meet at the Brock Tract parking lot on the east side of Durham 1/Brock Rd., approximately 5 km south of Goodwood Rd / Regional Rd 21, or 1 km north of Uxbridge Pickering Town Line. The parking lot is just after the entrance to 1401 Brock Rd.  There is a large green East Duffins Headwaters sign just north of the entrance.
