Whit-Stouffville - CANCELLED YRF Hollidge & Drysdale Tracts - Mod-Fast; Sheila King

Members and Non-Members are welcome. Pre-registration is mandatory.

Non-members and new members must contact the hike leader by 6:00pm the night before to ensure the hike is suitable for your abilities.  

ORTA MAP 4: 2.5 hrs - ~10k at ~4.5km/hr; This hike of multiple loops on rolling terrain takes us east through forested Hollidge Tract, first purchased for York County’s “Vivian Forest”, now known as York Regional Forest. We will cross a road and continue into Drysdale Tract through a mix of woodlands and fields before looping back.  

Preparing for the Hike: Check the weather that morning and dress in layers appropriate to the weather.  Bring water for hydration. Icers are mandatory to have on hand, and even with all the recent snow melt snowshoes are recommended to bring in your car, just in case. Poles are helpful, but optional. No dogs, no drop-outs.
