Uxbridge - Skyloft/Durham Forest, Moderate, Anna Sunn

Members and non-members welcome.  Non-members and new members are required to contact the hike leader by 6 pm the day before to discuss if this hike is appropriate for you.

ORTA Map 6; 8-9 km, Approx. 2.5hrs; moderate pace; quite hilly.  Come out to explore the forested Skyloft conservation area and the Durham Forest trails, part of the East Duffins Headwaters.  

Snowshoes are still strongly recommended.  We will be hiking on some of the groomed trails in Durham Forest and snowshoes will help us to pack down the trail if there is fresh snow or will alternatively prevent us from damaging the trails if they are soft due to warmer temperatures.  Be prepared with proper footwear, icers and adequate water.  Poles are recommended due to hilly terrain.

Parking/Location: We will park in the lot at the end of Buzek Lane, Uxbridge.  There is no fee to park at this location.
