Uxbridge - Brock & Wilder Tracts (Brock Rd.) Moderate - Anna Sunn

Non-members welcome. Non-members should contact the hike leader no later than 6 pm the day prior to determine whether this hike is suitable for you.  

ORTA Map 5; 7km; 2.5 hrs; Moderate pace;  Arrive at 9:15 am for a 9:30 am start.

Let's have some fun and make this a Valentine's themed hike!  Come decked out in all the red, white and pink you can find.

Be prepared with snowshoes, icers, water and proper footwear.  Snowshoes are highly recommended.  The Brock Tract is generally well trekked with packed trails but the wind storm Friday night has blown a lot of snow back over many of the trails.  I have one extra pair of snowshoes if someone would like to give them a try.  Please let me know ahead of Friday if you would.

Meet at the Brock Tract parking lot on the east side of Durham 1/Brock Rd., approximately 5 km south of Goodwood Rd / Regional Rd 21, or 1 km north of Uxbridge Pickering Town Line. The parking lot is just after the entrance to 1401 Brock Rd.  There is a large green East Duffins Headwaters sign just north of the entrance.
