Uxbridge - LOCATION CHANGE East Walker Woods (Conc. 7) Mod-Fast, Sheila King

This is a members-only hike. Maximum 15.  

ORTA Map 5; 10+km; 2.5hrs; Moderate to fast pace (4 - 4.5k/hr).  Meet at 9:15 am for 9:30 start.

This will be a loop hike on very pretty forest trails with some moderate hills. Snowshoes are highly recommended given our recent snow fall. Poles are helpful and ensure you bring adequate water. Check the weather the morning of and dress accordingly.  

Meet at parking lot on the west side of Uxbridge Conc. 7, 2km south of Durham Road 21.  

Please note that this is a pay parking lot.  The location name is  Towers Parking #106.  Uxbridge residents are not required to pay for parking but are still required to register for a 'No-Charge Special Permit'.  Details regarding the Uxbridge parking system and HotSpot App can be found at  https://www.uxbridge.ca/en/transportation/permit-parking-and-trail-sustainability.aspx   It is recommended you register for parking the morning of and before leaving from home to avoid connectivity issues at the trail head.
