Newmarket (King) - Jokers Hill/Thornton Bales CA - moderate-fast - David Atkins

Members and non-members welcome. 

Non-members are required to contact the hike leader by 6 pm the evening before to ensure that this hike is suitable for you. Less-experienced members who want to try the hike should also call before signing up for the hike.

ORTA Map 3; Newmarket (King); Jokers Hill/Thornton Bales Conservation Area; 9.5 km; 2+ hours; moderate-fast pace (4.5 km/hr). 

A hilly forested hike from Jokers Hill to Thornton Bales Conservation Area and back. There will be one muddy/wet section. This is a challenging hike with lots of hills; experienced hikers only please. Bring water and snacks. No dogs please.

Registration is limited to 12 hikers.
