Uxbridge - Countryside Preserve and Uxbridge Urban Provincial Park - moderate-fast, Karen Graham

Non-members are required to contact the hike leader by 6 p.m. the day before to discuss the hike in advance.

ORTA Map 5; 10+ km; 2-2.5 hrs; moderate-fast pace covering 4-4.5 km per hour. This will be a there-and-back hike. Join me on a little adventure, we are going to start at the Countryside Preserve Trailhead behind Walmart and hike to the Uxbridge Urban Park. In July, I hiked between the Uxbridge Urban Park and Countryside Preserve with Brian & Wilma but this will be my first time leading this hike. 

Parking/location: Meet at 9:15 a.m. for a 9:30 a.m. start, at the Countryside Preserve trailhead behind the Wal-Mart store as you enter Uxbridge from the south on Hwy. 47 (south end of Uxbridge).

Directions: Important - Walmart is located at 6 Welwood Drive, Uxbridge. The trailhead is BEHIND, Walmart.
