Uxbridge - Walker Woods - moderate - Brian & Wilma Millage

Members and non-members welcome.

ORTA Map 5; 2 hrs.; moderate pace (4 km/hr.). Hike along mature forest trails followed by a lunch in a special location. Join us for a 2 hour hike in one of the original reforested areas of the Uxbridge Forest area - a local gem.

Meeting Point: Meet at the ORTA trailhead into North Walker Woods; entrance on the west side of the 6th Concession, 1.5 km south of Durham Road 21 (Goodwood Road). 3200 Concession Road 6, Uxbridge.

Parking: There is limited free roadside parking at the trail head. Many more cars can be accommodated if people park perpendicular to the road. Hikers who have a local pass may park in the lot at Albright Road and the 6th Concession.

Arrive at 8:45 a.m. for a 9 a.m. start. NOTE - 9 a.m. start. This will allow us to access the breakfast/lunch menu at the scenic Wooden Sticks Golf Club in Uxbridge following the hike.
