Cavan-Monaghan - Millbrook Valley Trails, slow-moderate, Scott Cecchin

Millbrook Valley Trails; 6 km; 2.5 hour hike. This is a joint-event with the Peterborough Pride festival. Come celebrate with this Baxter Creek pride hike! All are welcome. Starting in Millbrook, we'll hike along Baxter Creek on the Millbrook Valley Trails. This is a great chance to get outdoors and enjoy the natural world in a queer-friendly setting. We will hike at a slow-to-moderate pace so we can enjoy nature and each other's company. Trail conditions may be uneven, muddy, sandy, and will include some hills. Members and non-members welcome. Leashed dogs are welcome.

What to bring: Bring water and snacks. Sturdy footwear required. Poles optional for tackling mud and hills. Practice tick prevention.

Location/Parking: Meet at the parking lot at the southern end of Distillery St. in downtown Millbrook, ON. (just south of the intersection of county roads 21 and 10). See coordinates.
