Uxbridge - Secord Forest (Conc 3) Mod-Fast, Sheila King

Members only hike. Pre-registration is mandatory  

ORTA Map 5; 11.5km; 2.5+hrs;  Secord Pond/Forest and Goodwood Tract.  

This is mostly a single track route that will include two loops connected by a there/back trail through a mix of evergreen and hardwood forests with streams.  Expect muddy sections after a rain, and uneven terrain with roots/loose debris.

Good hiking boots with a good tread are recommended. Poles may be helpful. Have ample water on hand and check the weather before leaving home to prepare accordingly. 

Meet at 9:15 am for a 9:30 start.

Parking/ Directions: 2km south of Goodwood Rd on the 3rd concession, east on Secord Rd to the FREE parking lot and trailhead.
