Ganaraska Hiking Trail Map 12 Scrabble Lake Hike; challenging terrain; slow-moderate pace (3.5-4 km per hour); 12 km (approximate) distance.

We will be meeting at the Moore’s Falls Parking area and travelling north towards the Fairy Falls. From there the trails moves westward passing north over Black Lake towards Scrabble Mountain. We’ll be stopping at Scrabble Lake for lunch, shade, and possibly a swim if you’re up for it! Scrabble Lake is a tranquil, scenic spot to stop for a well-deserved lunch break.

Hikers should be prepared with at least two litres of water, snacks, and a lunch.  Take preparations to avoid heat stroke with by dressing in breathable clothing, wearing a hat and sunscreen (depending on weather conditions). Ticks are prevalent in the area.  Hiking poles will be an advantage.  

This is a joint hike with the Ganaraska Hiking Trail Association.
