This hike is situated in the remote west sector of the Queen Elizabeth Wildlands. We will start the hike at Victoria Bridge and proceed along the main trail along the Black River, across the Montgomery Creek Bridge, then to the top of a rocky hill overlooking the bend in the Black River. We’ll then turn east on a blue side trail for about 5 kilometres and then reconnect with the main trail. This is a very rugged trail suitable for experienced hikers only.

Hikers should be prepared with at least two litres of water, snacks, and a lunch.  Take preparations to avoid heat stroke with by dressing in breathable clothing, wearing a hike and sunscreen (depending on weather conditions).
