Newmarket (King) - Jokers Hill/Thornton Bales CA - moderate-fast - David Atkins

Non-members are required to contact the hike leader by 6 pm the evening before to ensure that this hike is suitable for you. 

ORTA Map 3; Newmarket (King); Jokers Hill/Thornton Bales Conservation Area; 9 km; 2+ hours; moderate-fast pace (4-4.5 km/hr). 

A hilly forested hike from Jokers Hill to Thornton Bales Conservation Area and back. Prepare for some muddy/wet, or maybe frozen, sections. Bring icers – they will be needed depending on how frozen/snowy conditions are. No dogs please.

Registration is limited to 12 hikers.
