Northumberland - Trail Work Volunteer Callout, Scott Cecchin

ORTA Map 10; 4.5 km; 3 hours maximum.

This is a callout for a couple volunteers to help with painting blazes on a short section of the ORTA main trail south of Bewdley. We’ll casually walk along the road allowance trail, stopping occasionally to paint! Our trail work will conclude with enough time to attend the Northumberland Forest hike at 1pm.

The trail has some uneven footing, so wear sturdy footwear. Dress for the weather (remember we’ll be standing still frequently). While we won’t aim to spill any paint, consider wearing clothes that aren’t too precious. Bring water and a snack (and lunch if you plan on attending the 1pm hike).

Meet up by 8:55 a.m. for a 9 a.m. start.

PARKING: Roadside parking on Gibbs Rd. at the northeast side of the intersection with Donaldson Rd. W.
