ORTA Map 3B; 2-2.5 hrs; slow-moderate; flat trails, mix of paved, crushed stone and mowed grass; nature walk; no dogs. Sun hat, water, binoculars, sunscreen recommended.

Join ORTA member and Arboretum board member Karen Fullbrook, on a leisurely tour of the Aurora Community Arboretum. You may want to bring along binoculars. The diverse habitats of the Arboretum are rich with birds and other wildlife.

The Aurora Arboretum is 100 acres within the Town of Aurora parkland between Wellington Street and St John’s Sideroad along the valley of the East Holland River. auroraarboretum.ca

Members can bring a guest and it would be appreciated if you could pre-register your guest in WildApricot. Please contact the hike leader if you need assistance doing this.

Optional lunch at 12:45 pm. Location tba (please check back for an update prior to the hike). Please advise Karen Graham well in advance if you will attend the lunch as a reservation is required. 

PARKING: Free at the Aurora Family Leisure Complex, 135 Industrial Pkwy N. 

We will meet the Gazebo in the Arboretum, accessed from the south end of the parking lot.

Arrive at 9:45 for a 10 am start.
